Dragon Designs Cymru is a small business based in South Wales run by Dawn Lane

Taught to knit and sew by my mother as a very young child, my passion for knitting continues and I am now knitting with various knitting machines and accepting commissions for garments/hats/gloves etc for older children and adults. I have also recently learned to crochet and can offer crocheted baskets, bags, keyrings and bookmarkers amongst other items.

Born and brought up in South Wales, I joined the Royal Navy in 1977 and thoroughly enjoyed a 22 year service throughout the United Kingdom and abroad, retiring in 1999.

I retired from the corporate world in 20221 having worked as a civilian for Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, within the NHS as an administrator and ran my own secretarial business for 10 years.

I am now busy doing what I love – being creative with fabric and yarn.
